This was my first experience with HTG and I couldn’t be any happier. The cost was half of the first quote I received from another garage. Ryan kept me informed through the whole process and he even deducted sensors that they didn’t need off the bill. I loved the ease and excellent communication. They are now my new go to garage for repairs!

I scheduled an oil change. They took my car right in. They said it would take an hour which seemed high. I said that seemed like a long time and said I had to go back to work. Oil change took 1 hour and 35 minutes. I asked why it was taking so long after an hour and 15 minutes and they said they were doing a comprehensive check on my car taking pictures and what not. They said I had a leak and a little rust. I said that's normal for an old car. The kid at the front desk said well it's a safety thing and then said it's a "huge" leak. I said no it's not, my power steering fluid has a tiny leak (common for older cars). The mechanic confirmed that the power steering fluid level was a tiny bit under being full. They wasted my time. They were looking for things that they could try and sell me on that needed to be fixed. They used synthetic when I asked for conventional because it's cheaper and I have this weird thing about liking conventional in all of the buicks I have owned. They wasted my time knowingly. The kid in the front is under intelligent and full of it. $40 for an oil change is high when you only wanted cheap oil. This place is up there with Mobil in Lexington in my book in terms of looking for unnecessary work. I think they get good ratings mostly because of the Keurig in the waiting room. Also they said they could replace a passenger inner tail bulb for $32. Even for a mechanic that is so high to replace a bulb.

Needed a new tire, expected to get 2, ended up with 4. Ryan walked me through options. Happy with the work performed. They also had no issue with me picking up the car on Monday even though it was ready on Friday. Definitely would go back to Hometown Garage.

I never worry about the quality of service or reasons for repairs. These guys are honest and go out of their way to provide excellent service. I especially like the texting feature which, in real time, updates you regarding evaluation of the problem and updates on the repairs. Nice to find this level of service still exists. I highly recommend them Eileen

Great experience at Hometown Garage. I expected to have several parts replaced. They inspected the car and gave me an estimate on how much longer I could use those parts. They also dropped me off at work while I waited for the repair. Great customer service, convenient. Highly recommend!

A co-worker recommended Hometown Garage after my mechanic of many years retired and closed his shop. This was my first visit. Wonderful service, kept me informed via text throughout the process, and provided shuttle service to/from the office. Everyone was polite, professional, and knowledgeable and my car now runs great! Found my new mechanic.
